Invest in the USA (IIUSA) has just obtained the latest USCIS EB-5 approval/denial statistics for I-526 and I-829 petitions.

TOTALS  427  467 109% 24   5.6%

I added the percentages to the USCIS’ numbers, even though they can at times be confusing. You can see the approval rate exceeding 100% for all of 2013. An odd result to anyone not familiar with EB-5 petition processing. The high number of approvals probably reflects the USCIS’ efforts this year to reduce the backlog of pending I-829 petitions. Let’s hope we see this soon for I-526 petitions as well!

Denial percentages are more useful numbers, and they show historically low levels of both I-526 and I-829 denials.
